Frequently Asked Questions

How do I import this into iPhone Photos as a native Live Photo?
Unzip the downloaded pack in the iOS Files app. Select both IMG_LIVE.JPG and IMG_LIVE.MOV, tap the Share icon, and tap "Save to Photos". iOS automatically links both files into a single native Live Photo via the embedded Apple ContentIdentifier metadata!
Are my videos uploaded?
No. Your selected video is processed in your browser. The page loads ordinary website assets and may use aggregate analytics, but it does not upload your media file.
Which files can I use?
Try an MP4, MOV, or WebM video under 100 MB. The browser decodes the clip locally, attaches matching Apple ContentIdentifier UUIDs to the JPEG and QuickTime tracks, and packages them into an iOS-ready bundle.

Video to Live Photo: Prepare an MP4 and Cover JPG

Use this page to choose a cover image from a browser-playable MP4. Upload your video, drag the frame slider, and download a ZIP with cover.jpg and the original MP4. Your clip is not shortened, transcoded, or uploaded.

A native iPhone Live Photo needs more than two files with similar names. Apple documents an image and paired movie whose identifiers match. This tool does not write that pairing metadata, so importing the ZIP contents into Photos may show a separate still and video.

If your MP4 will not preview, its codec may not be supported by your browser even though the file extension is .mp4. Try a browser-playable H.264 MP4. For the actual Live Photo pairing step, use a compatible creator or an iOS workflow that writes both identifiers.

Format notes

The exported video keeps its source format. A filename change does not convert WebM or MP4 into QuickTime MOV, and a JPEG alone does not create the metadata needed for an iPhone Live Photo.
